Llaingyfre holiday cottages

Mike & Rosemary purchased Llaingyfre, a 23 acre smallholding in lovely countryside, ideally located to explore Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion (Cardiganshire), the Gower, Presili Mountains, Cambrian Mountains, and western Breacon Beacons, at the end of 2003. At that time it had several barns, a part of one of which had already been converted into a single floor cottage (now known as 'Red Kite Cottage').
Our thoughts turned to considering how we should utilise the remaining barns.
We decided to convert the old milking parlour into a holiday cottage,sleeping 5, which was completed in 2005. We called it 'Old Dairy Cottage'. One of the other barns was let out to a neighbouring farmer for tractor storage. The grazing and mowing rights to the land, comprising small fields and woodland, are let out to a neighbouring farmer, but guests are free to walk them
The sited caravan, then able to sleep 7 was stripped out and fitted with one bedroom to sleep two, providing more living space and a shower room, and in 2006 we opened for holiday lets.An outbuilding attached to the main house has since been equipped to provide a laundrey room housing both a washing machine and a tumble dryer for the convenience of our visitors, who are free to explore our garden and lands.
